Tow bar Types
Hitch Receiver towbars
The hitch receiver tow bar incorporates a removable square hitch that is fitted with a quick release pin. These bars are available for both Series 1 and 2 Klugers with a 50mm square receiver socket. The hitch style towbar allows for quick removal of the towball mount when not in use to save those shins. The square hitch tow bar can also provide a mounting point for a wide range of bike carriers. Both the Series 1 and 2 Klugers take a couple of hours to fit because they require removal of the bumper. The bumper also has to be relieved to allow the hitch to pass through it. This is easy enough to do but we do spend a bit of time on it to make sure the cut is both accurate and neat.
